Zambales Sojourn - Anawangin (Day 1 & 2)

After a roller coaster ride to Anawangin from Capones (where we all got wet!), we arrived Anawangin cove around lunchtime.

It is a long stretch of white sand with nothing but pine trees, 2 water pumps, 2 kubos of the caretakers and a few shower areas and "comfort" rooms.

After finding a place to pitch our tents, we proceeded in preparing our lunch. 
Then, a quick nap before photo ops time.

First stop was to the lake. Anawangin is unique for 2 things: having pine trees despite it being a beach area; and having a lake just a few steps away from the sea.

Then, second photo ops was trying out the various filters Stephen has...and I sooo love it. My next project will be it! Thanks, Stef! =)

Just before sunset, we took a swim and enjoyed the Anawangin water to cool off from the very hot weather.

After a shower and change of clothes, we started our 15mins walk to the other end of the cove for the sunset shot. Thank God we were blessed by a very beautiful sunset!

When we got back, Yaya Rose has already prepared our dinner. After dinner, the boys stayed up till 1am to eat, drink and exchange stories, while I tucked myself to bed at 9pm. 

The following day we broke camp early so we can dock at Capones. After breakfast and the customary group photo, we proceeded to Capones.
 
Wow! we came complete! Stephen was such a cowboy, he brought food and utensils enough for a week's supply, and Sheldon provided the cooking utensils.
So all we brought at the market are the fresh fish and meat. So it was an effortless camping adventure!
